Live Webcasting1.3

Live Webcasting

Live Webcasting

While Live Webcasting is a huge topic, here are 5 items that we are think are important enough to mention:

1. Reliable Cloud HostingReliable Cloud Hosting empowers you with the ability to broadcast live, upload, edit and create from where you are at the moment.  Say goodbye to paying for expensive server upgrades, being tied down to one person in your organization that knows how to support the system and constant server maintenance!  Just leave it to us to upgrade, support and maintain … It doesn’t get any easier to have peace of mind.

2. Tier 1 International CDNHaving a Tier 1 International CDN has benefits far beyond most delivery networks.  Your capacity on a CDN can actually be higher than the network backbone capacity. This results in an impressive increase in the number of concurrent users. Theend users will likely experience less jitter, fewer network peaks and surges, and improved stream quality—especially in remote areas. The increased reliability allows a CDN operator to deliver HD quality content with high Quality of Service, low costs and low network load.  CDNs can have automatic server availability sensing with instant user redirection and can offer 100% availability, even with large power, network or hardware outages occur.  All of this result in the fastest, widest and most reliable Network in which to deliver your content on the face of the planet.  Quality service … it’s the vLife way.

3. Control PanelFrom your “Control Panel” (Dashboard), you have all the power to set up new live events, archive past event, switch the server to allow you to broadcast live from a different location, add advertisements, turn off (or on) the chat system and more, all from your laptop.  That’s a lot of power, so don’t let it go to your head.

4. Advertising ManagementWhile you have to worry about annoying advertisers bombarding your viewers with products and services outside of your control, you do have the control internally market whatever you want.  Take items like that couples retreat, the special weekend service, youth camp or your new book and advertise right on the Live Viewing space.  They may not be physically in your building that week to get a bulletin, but they still may be interested in getting involved in the life of your church.  This is one way to help connect your live streaming church to your physical one.

5. Advance Reporting (Google Analytics & CDN Integration) When we take all of the information from Google Analytics and integrate it with the data received from our Tier 1 International CDN it make for great reporting!  You will have the data of who is watching what, when, from where and how.  We track and record the data and you pull up the custom report you need see.

Events1.1

Events

To increase the functionality of the system, we have not only made it possible to have full church services and gatherings streamed live to everyone who wants to watch and participate, but we also allow you to hold a private event and invite only those you wish to attend. Broadcast your Live or Scheduled Pre-Recorded Event to as large or small of a group as you need to, the control is in your hands.

Moderated Chat Icon1.1

Moderated Chat

There’s no doubt that the church experience is enriched by the feeling of community it provides. And there’s no need for that feeling to be lost just because you’re watching the service via internet. Enter the chat room. A chat room, fully moderated either by an on or off-site staff member, is designed to accompany your live event. Viewers can easily post comments in two ways; directly through your site or by way of social networks. Either way your viewers feel integrated in an ongoing personable way.

Message Chat Icon1.1

Instant Message Prayer

In an effort to blah blah meet the immediate needs of your internet membership we developed the Prayer Instant Message feature. With the click of a button viewers can privately ask for prayer while viewing the event. Instantly a live prayer moderator, provided by your church, can respond with encouragement. This kind of interaction is integral. It nurtures your online membership practically in its far-reaching ability to meet pressing needs.

Forty-six percent of people use a social network to stay connected to friends, family and business contacts. Staying on top of the technological curve our Social Media Integration benefit allows viewers to log on to your your Moderated Chat via their Twitter or Facebook accounts. As virtual evangelists they can post their comments and share your message with their friends and connections by computer or mobile device. By providing them with every available tool, your internet community will reach people that you ordinarily wouldn’t reach! Give them a place to spread the news and stay connected.

Notes Icon1.1

Notes

The customizable Notes tool has two options. Viewers can either follow along with teaching notes provided weekly by the pastor or they can take notes of their own while the event is in progress. Either way, there’s no distraction from the ongoing event to switch between screens. The Notes tab is integrated into the broadcast player for easy access. Finally, upon completion of the event the notes can be e-mailed to the viewer for future reference. Also, the notes can be shared with family and friends to further the message’s reach.

Donations Icon1.2

Donations

Studies show that over half of people ages 18 to 65 watch a constantly streaming internet video. It stands to reason that while they’re on your site, they’ll want the chance to give to the ministry that’s supporting their viewership. To meet that desire the Donations tool allows your church to receive tithes and offerings by use of credit card from online viewers committed to your ministry.

The Church At (Part-4 Who Do You Reach Online?)

We asked Dr Alex about the reach of video streaming. He told a cool story that had happened recently. We hear this often its surprising who you reach once you being to broadcast your services live.
